About us

Bamboo Sandwich & Coffee Bar is a small, family run business in St Marychurch, Torquay. The cafe is attached to our children's shoe shop so the staff work closely together. We have a small, friendly team and we aim to offer the best customer service experience for our guests. We have many regular customers who we know by name which creates a lovely atmosphere to work in.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person who loves to work closely with customers and as part of a team.

The right candidate will......

Have experience in food preparation
Work to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
Have excellent customer service skills
It will be an advantage to have ........

Previous barista training
Experience of baking
Food Safety certificate
The role will involve, opening up in the morning, prepping the food for the day, baking scones and fulfilling food orders for items such as sandwiches, baguettes, paninis & jacket potatoes etc.

The job is for 3/4 days a week but more hours may be available.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE STILL IN EDUCATION.
