Salary G3 13.26 - 13.47 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable individual to assist in the production and delivery of school meals. The successful candidate will undertake general kitchen duties including the cleaning of associated equipment. In return, we offer excellent pay rate, uniform and access to training.


We have vacancy for a Food Preparation Assistant at the following premise:

Nb The following site is classed as a dining centre therefore minimal food preparation is undertaken on site.

Hours per week: 25 (38 weeks per year)


Times: 9.00am-2.00pm

Successful applicants will hold or train for the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate.

In line with FSA guidance and due to the identifiable health and safety risks involved, there is a requirement to undertake a pre-employment health questionnaire prior to commencing kitchen duties.
This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
