We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency and quality in meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including utensils, equipment, and work surfaces. Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Support cooking staff by performing basic cooking tasks as required. Assist with serving meals and ensuring that presentation meets restaurant standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar kitchen role is preferred. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of culinary techniques are advantageous. Familiarity with food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced kitchen staff are highly valued. Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to develop their culinary skills.
