As a Food Production Assistant at Sodexo in Chesterfield Royal Hospital, you'll play an important part in preparing and serving nutritious, comforting meals that support patient recovery and wellbeing. You'll also help maintain a clean, safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas. With a cheerful attitude and great customer service, your presence can make a real difference in someone's day. What you'll do:



Follow specified cooking and preparation methods to maintain high production and service standards. Complete all production documentation (e.g., temperature records) to comply with hygiene, health & safety, and food safety regulations. Monitor production and wastage according to daily modis sheets. Deliver ward order requests as directed and complete all related delivery documentation. Accurately collate paperwork for food service forms and numbers. Clean service equipment using mechanical dishwashing and hand washing; maintain kitchen cleanliness per safety management standards. Report mechanical defects to the duty supervisor and comply with all training requirements, including food safety and health & safety certifications. Follow food safety legislation guidelines and complete operational tasks or requests as directed by management.

Desirable

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Previous experience in a catering environment
