Goldstein Salmon is looking for an

Operations Assistant

to join our team at our modern, high-standard food factory in Colindale. We specialize exclusively in salmon products, and you'll play an important role in helping us maintain our reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dispatch team with preparing and handling orders. Accurately store products, execute checks and stock counts daily. Support the production and packing teams as needed to ensure continuity of operations. Support logistics operations, including palletizing, loading/unloading vehicles, organising dry storage and whatever needed on a day to day basis. Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic factory environment. Occasionally drive the company vehicle to deliver orders to customers. Carry out general duties as directed on the production floor.

Requirements:

Experience in the food industry is a plus, but full training will be provided. Must be comfortable working in a factory setting, including chilled areas and standing for extended periods. Good understanding and communication in English are essential. Able to work Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend shifts. Valid UK Driving Licence. Counterbalance forklift licence preferred but not essential. Must be available to start immediately.
