Production Blending Operative, you will undergo a training programme to increase your skills and knowledge in order to potentially become a key member of the team.

Responsibilities:

To learn how to competently operate and blend food manufacturing machinery to produce a variety of finished dry food products that meet specification and quality standards. Ensure paperwork is completed correctly throughout processing. To communicate effectively with other operators to ensure production targets are met. To identify quality issues and defects to prevent further defective products being produced. To comply with the company & customers quality policies and BRC To comply with the company health and safety policy.

Personal Attributes:

Previous machinery, blending experience is desirable. Hardworking with a desire to progress. Organised and planned approach to work. Good eye for detail. Commitment to health, safety and quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can work as part of a team of independently. Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines. Problem solving attitude. Must have an understanding of both written and spoken English.

Pennine Food Ingredients operates from a 45000 sqft manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Huddersfield in Oakes. We specialise in the production and packing of dry powder food and food ingredients for major brands and retailers into a variety of different sachets, pouches pails and liquid gels.
