Job Description

We are a Asian frozen foods manufacturer based in West London established over 15 years ago, producing a huge range of products from dumplings and dimsum to slow-cooked meats. We are looking for a motivated team member tasked with an important job of keeping our machinery, equipment and facility fully maintained and operational.

Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults Diagnose breakdown problems Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs and carry our reactive maintenance Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns. Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly Carry out quality inspections on jobs Maintaining records of daily work and outcomes. Improve health and safety policies and procedures, including maintaining up to date risk assessments, and training new users. Write and design maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment Monitor and control maintenance costs Liaise with contractors, other engineering and production colleagues Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
We look for applicants that are self-motivated, inquisitive, efficient and friendly. They must have a readiness to learn about new machinery as well as have creativity to find solutions to production issues.

Weekends are rarely worked, but may occur on occasion due to work needing to be undertaken whilst the manufacturing processes are finished for the week.
