We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a keen understanding of food safety and production processes. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities



Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues. Follow food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the production process. Assist in the preparation and handling of food products, ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines. Perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management and quality control purposes. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain workflow efficiency. Document production activities accurately and maintain records as required.

Qualifications



Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery, preferably within a food production setting. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations, including HACCP principles. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and inventory management. Previous experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
