Food Production Operative -

Flavours Foods is a food manufacturing business providing the food to go, wholesale and catering markets with high quality chilled products such as sandwich fillers, salads and marinated meats

As a Packing Operative you will be expected to pack finished product from mixing baths to the pots of 1kg / 2 kg or 10kg buckets.

The business continues to grow therefore the company is looking for a person who would be enthusiastic, self motivated and a good team worker to ensure that product safety and quality is not compromised, as well as the right quantities are produced on the daily basis.

Day to day duties:

- Packing finished product into different size pots & buckets

- Ensuring product safety & quality is kept up to the standard

- Product temperature monitoring & oxygen levels in the vacuum packs

- General Housekeeping

- Finished Product Labelling, completion of packing paperwork

- Cleaning of equipment & machinery to the highest standard, 'Clean as you go' policy followed

- Adhering to all company policies and procedures

- Following Health & Safety rules

About You:

- Previous experience in food manufacturing business would be an advantage

- Enthusiastic & Self motivated

- Good attitude and willingness to learn

- Good communication, team working skills

9 hour shift with 1 hour taken off for break Days, Monday - Friday 12:00 till 21:00

14.50
