This is a fantastic opportunity to gain skills in preparation, production, storage, packing and dispatch of product. Esteri manufacturing and packing team, the right candidate will be hands on with bakery, weighing and measuring, safe machine operation, cleaning, stock control, minimising waste and food safety.

The ideal candidate will have:

Duties

Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure smooth operations. Handle materials effectively, including stock management and heavy lifting as required. Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards. Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Engage in picking and packing of products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in orders. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, maintaining organised records of incoming and outgoing goods. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred, but not essential. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts, is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the shift. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control processes. Knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial but not essential. A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
