Supplement Production Operative - Blending

Life Lab Supplements, Vision Park, Bell Way, Burnley, Lancashire
12.30/hr starting wage with pay banding

37.5hrs per week Mon-Thu 8.15am - 4.30pm Fri 8.15am - 3.15pm . Occasional weekend work and overtime required.

An award winning, fast-growing sports supplement manufacturing company are looking for a hard working person who has a high attention to detail, able to work under their own supervision and takes the level of cleanliness of their work environment very seriously.

This position is critical to the operation of the business and the role will have a high level of autonomy on the day to day activities and assisting in co-ordinating cleaning routines. The business is growing at a fast rate and has the opportunity for the role to expand in the future.

Main Duties

Manufacturing & blending of powdered sports supplements Weighing out & sieving dry ingredients to set recipes Cleaning of manufacturing equipment Cleaning of Cleanrooms (wipe downs, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, auto scrubbing, cleaning ceiling vents, etc) Stock and supply designated facility areas Maintaining quality standards within the facility Ensure all products meet high specification quality control standards Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities to ISO & GMP standards

Essential

Operating machinery in a work environment Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems Working without supervision and using own initiative Good grasp of maths

Desirable Experience

Working with pharmaceutical/supplement machinery Maintaining machinery Good manufacturing practices
