We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our dynamic team in the food production industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety protocols and mechanical operations, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient operation and product quality. Adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to maintain food safety standards throughout the production process. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and products to identify any potential issues or defects. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations. Accurately record production data and metrics, employing basic math skills for calculations related to output and inventory. Assist in training new staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential. A solid understanding of mechanical operations and maintenance practices will be advantageous. Basic mathematical skills are required for data entry and reporting purposes. Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
