We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your responsibilities will include delivering food from the kitchen to the dining area, assisting with meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist kitchen staff with meal preparation and food preparation tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any requests or concerns promptly. Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with restaurant policies. Demonstrate phone etiquette when taking orders or communicating with guests over the phone.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with kitchen operations, meal preparation, and food delivery processes is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding guest services and enhancing the dining experience. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
