Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and presented beautifully before serving to guests. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, including meal preparation and food safety compliance. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas throughout service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent guest services by being attentive to customer needs and responding promptly to any requests for assistance. Support the team during busy periods by helping with additional tasks, including setting up tables or clearing dishes.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong phone etiquette for communicating with guests or taking orders when necessary. Experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial, as it enhances understanding of menu items and service flow. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences is essential for success in this role.
