We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient service of food to guests, supporting the front-of-house team, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

Deliver prepared dishes promptly from the kitchen to designated tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained. Assist in setting up tables and clearing dishes to facilitate efficient service. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including side stations and dining spaces. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Uphold guest service excellence by being attentive, courteous, and professional at all times. Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food and cleaning procedures.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is advantageous. Knowledge of food preparation, meal presentation, and food safety standards. Experience as a delivery driver or in courier services is a plus. Familiarity with kitchen operations, cooking processes, or hotel services can be beneficial. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest service orientation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Organised with good multitasking abilities and a proactive attitude. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes as needed.
