Responsibilities
Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and maintaining a clean dining environment.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision.
Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order accuracy and guest billing when required.
Maintain food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like banquets or large parties.
Requirements
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff.
Ability to stand for extended periods and move swiftly around the dining area.
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
Previous banquet or hotel service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
