We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Duties
Collect prepared dishes from the kitchen and deliver them accurately to designated tables or areas.
Assist in organising and coordinating food orders between the kitchen and service staff.
Ensure that all food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
Support the serving team by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and assisting with guest requests as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service stations and dining areas.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary requirements.
Uphold food safety standards during all stages of food handling and delivery.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks if required, including garnishing or plating dishes.
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional phone etiquette.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude with a genuine passion for guest services and culinary experiences.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Experience as a delivery driver or in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is desirable but not mandatory.
