The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the dining area while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for hospitality.

Duties

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist in the preparation of meals and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service. Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to requests and inquiries. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions effectively. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food handling and delivery. Assist with setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and chairs as needed. Support servers by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and assisting with any additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety practices and meal preparation techniques. Experience in food preparation or cooking is an advantage. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A background in guest services or culinary experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with phone etiquette for taking orders or answering inquiries is beneficial. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
