Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at HMP Birmingham B18 4AS.
As a Food Service Assistant, you will mainly be working front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations by preparing basic food and serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:

• You will be preparing basic food and serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
• Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
• Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
• Been resident in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
• The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
