We are recruiting a food service assistant to join our team in our Bournemouth location within our client premises, we have multiple food offerings ranging from a mezzaluna salad bar a deli sandwich station and hot food options daily.
This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday work. Successful candidate will be required to pass security background and credit check
The Role:
Before service:
Set up and prepping items for our salad bar
Set up and prepping items for our deli bar including making paninis
Serve customers looking to purchase from our breakfast station
Collecting stock and putting away deliveries
Cleaning down our breakfast station ready for lunch
Setting up eye catching displays following our food concept branding.
During service:
Serving and making Made to order sandwiches from our deli bar following our portion styles and sizes
Serving and chopping salads on our bespoke salad bar.
Serving a selection of hot food from our delicious unique food concepts
After service
Closing of each counter including following stock rotation and shelf-life standards.
Cleaning all counters to a high standard.
Sweeping floor and emptying bins
Replenishing stock
Setting up counters ready for the morning shift.
The ideal candidate:
Self-motivation and a positive spirit are essential this role, it is fast paced during our peak time and requires a hardworking person who can work alone as well as part of a team.
You must adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with the rest of the team.
Completes regular online training
Punctual and honest
Key requirements:
High personal standards and attention to detail
Experience in a similar role essential
Strong interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP
Keen interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledge
