We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting in the preparation and serving of food and beverages. You will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers, contributing to their overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established guidelines and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food service area, including dining spaces, kitchens, and storage areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing information about menu items and daily specials. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times. Restock supplies as needed to maintain service efficiency throughout shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
