Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a reliable and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our team at Diageo, Runcorn. This is a fixed-term opportunity covering long-term sickness, offering a consistent shift pattern from Friday to Monday each week.
You'll play a key part in delivering an excellent catering service in a fast-paced, frontline environment. If you're committed to quality, safety, and service, we'd love to hear from you.
Main Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to all staff and visitors.
Support food preparation and assist with basic cooking and presentation.
Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in line with food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food service and dining areas.
Operate tills and handle cash in line with procedures.
Adhere to health and safety, food safety, and allergen regulations at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working in a food service or catering environment.
Basic Food Safety qualification (essential).
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
Flexible to work Friday through Monday on-site.
