Are you passionate about great food and friendly service? At Sodexo, we're looking for a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our team, where you'll prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages while making every customer interaction a positive one. You'll play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality, safety, and consistency, helping us deliver an excellent experience every day. This role includes Saturday shifts, which are a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a lively atmosphere, connect with more customers, and be part of a supportive weekend team.


Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation, presentation, and serving of food and drinks; deliver and clear down client hospitality services; serve customers and operate tills when required. Maintain cleanliness in service and kitchen areas; perform cleaning tasks (floors, utensils, equipment); comply with health and safety, PPE, and COSHH regulations. Restock counters, monitor food levels during service, and ensure items are replenished promptly. Attend training sessions and team briefings; contribute to a positive and supportive team environment. Respond to and report any complaints, compliments, or incidents to the appropriate person. Consistently uphold company policies, procedures, and service expectations

What We're Looking For:

You'll bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for creating great customer experiences. You'll enjoy preparing and serving food and beverages to a high standard, taking pride in every detail. You'll have (or be keen to develop) knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety practices, helping to keep everyone safe. You'll feel comfortable following our company policies, procedures, and uniform standards, knowing they help us deliver consistency and quality. You'll thrive on variety, happy to support different areas of the catering operation and learn new skills along the way. You'll be a dependable team player who's organised, eager to learn, and ready to grow with us.
