As a Food Service Supervisor at Sodexo at RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, OX18 3LX, you'll lead a team, ensuring smooth operations in the bar and food outlets. What you'll do:
Continue developing skills and complete required training.
Maintain excellent client and customer relationships.
Supervise and motivate the team to deliver high standards and engagement.
Manage cash, stock, and equipment responsibly.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, transport, and associated spaces.
Support with refreshment services, functions, and preparation as required.
Follow safe working practices for equipment, chemicals, and cleaning materials.
Check deliveries, report defects, and monitor stock levels.
Prepare and serve drinks, including cellar duties.
Supervise catering delivery, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.
Report any accidents, faults, or near misses promptly.
Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
What you bring:
Essential:
Experience in a catering or Mess operations role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining standards.
Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable:
Experience working in a military environment.
Previous supervisory experience with leadership skills.
Knowledge or qualification in Health & Safety and Food Safety.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Problem-solving and innovation skills.
