Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our food service operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with the general public and addressing their needs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems as required. Support barista duties, including preparing coffee and other beverages.

Skills

Previous experience in catering or food service is highly desirable. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation. Experience in a kitchen setting is an advantage. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required. Barista experience is a plus, with an understanding of coffee brewing methods. Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
