Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated Food Technician to support a secondary school in the Daventry area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in food preparation, classroom support, or school-based technical roles who is available to start straight away.
Role Responsibilities:
Support the Food Technology department with preparation of ingredients, equipment, and resources
Maintain hygiene and safety standards within the food prep areas
Assist teaching staff during practical lessons
Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering materials when required
Ensure classrooms and workspaces are cleaned and reset after lessons
Provide general technical support within the department
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Food Technician or within a school/food environment is desirable
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
Availability for an immediate start
