Job Summary:



Antrim Hills Spring Water is a small family run company based outside Ballyclare, in the County Antrim countryside. We specialise in soft drinks production. We are currently searching for an enthusiastic, competent Quality Coordinator to join our growing team.



General duties:



Ensure Antrim Hills employees are fully trained, and records are effectively managed to comply with food safety regulation.

Maintain product specification and supporting documentation to ensure that all products manufactured meet the required standard, protecting the reputation of the brand.

Maintain accurate safe and legal records, to champion excellent health and safety standards.

Effectively collaborate with all members of the team to create a positive working environment for all team members, clients and customers.

Perform any duties that are necessary to ensure the overall success and growth of Antrim Hills, including general office administration and supporting production on occasion.

Engage with customers, suppliers and auditors, demonstrating excellent service.

Collaborate with external partners to identify and control risks, with the aim of continuous overall business improvement.

The successful candidate must:



Be enthusiastic, flexible, can work independently without direction and have a positive can-do attitude.

Be able to identify a need and be proactive in creating and actioning a plan to address.

Be an excellent team player, having the ability to work effectively within the wider office and production team.

Maintain a clean and tidy working environment. Excellent personal hygiene is essential.

Engage with customers and suppliers and manage their expectations through telephone and email queries.

Be organised, having the ability to manage your own workload effectively to meet deadlines.

Desirable criteria:



Experience working in a similar role within food and drink manufacturing is desirable but not essential.

Competent in generating or maintaining procedural instructions (SOPs, quality and maintenance procedures) and guidelines to ensure compliance with governing standards and regulations.

Have experience leading training, coaching the wider team around policy changes and updates.

Have experience operating accounts or payroll system.

Knowledgeable about BRC Food safety standards, preferably within the food or drinks industry or capable of and willing to learn.

Experience coordinating 'goods in' processes, processing documentation to ensure accurate stock records.

Salary

: 23,000 - 30,000 per year depending on experience.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. This is a full-time position however we are willing to consider reduced working hours.
