The school is looking for a dedicated and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right individual. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging Food Technology lessons, with a strong focus on practicals, across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including GCSE preparation. This role is central to inspiring students' confidence in practical learning, developing vital life skills, and instilling pride in their achievements.
We are seeking a Food Technology Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with a Food Technology specialism
Has experience teaching practical Food Technology up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
Can bring structure, creativity, and enthusiasm to the classroom and kitchen environment
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management, especially in practical settings
Values teamwork and is keen to contribute to a collaborative department
