Job Description

Due to our location on the motorway our food van drivers play a key role in our business transporting the food from our central production kitchen at Rheged, in Penrith, to our business in Lanarkshire as well as performing other driving duties that keeps our business ticking over.
Your responsibilities will be;

To drive the company vehicles as scheduled, in a safe and legal manner. To ensure accurate stocks are collected, loaded & delivered with consideration to Food Safety parameters. To offload deliveries to store areas ensuring stock rotation To ensure the vehicle is in good condition and operational and reporting any defects to the Operations Manager. To maintain the cleanliness of all delivery areas (internal & external) To support Grounds team in clearing waste from external areas. To offer excellent service to customers when required.

You must have a full clean driving licence and be a safe and responsible driver. You should also have a positive mindset, be able to work independently and you shouldn't mind working outdoors at times.
