Where: Based in Cromer but mostly in the community across North Norfolk
Overview of the role:
This role involves liaising with local communities, groups and rural villages to increase accessibility and knowledge of the food bank centres in line with its strategic goals as well as promoting the culture and values of the Trussell Trust. You will report to the Foodbank Manager.
Key tasks
Create connections with local organisations, charities, schools and referral agencies
Attend monthly district council hub meetings and other community meetings
Communicate in an objective and informed manner with local community groups
Organising outreach events within local communities
Lead and attend 'informational talks' for community-based groups with support from foodbank staff
Attend external events in designated areas as an ambassador of the foodbank
Liaise with media outlets
To work in the office with the Foodbank Manager supporting operations when appropriate
Create content for social media and newsletters

Salary:
17,000 p.a. Eligible for standard auto enrolment in the NEST pension scheme
Annual Leave:
23 days per year, inclusive of 8 bank and public holidays
