Background:
B.Sc. in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology
3 years of industry work experience in the dairy or food industry and food-grade facility.
Experience in food science and microbiology
Strong background in formulation science and product development workflows.
Experience with alternative proteins, fermentation, or sports nutrition products is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and blend product formulations for evaluation and testing.
Analyse samples using various methods, including water filtration, microbiological plating, ATP testing, pH measurements, dry matter determination, viscosity and texture analysis.
Conduct experiments for protein stability, solubility, digestibility, and immunogenicity testing.
Running SDS gels, Western Blots and ELISAs
Perform aseptic techniques in a biological safety cabinet (BSC) for sample and assay preparation.
Submit samples for analysis through methods such as HPLC, SEC, and other biochemical assays
