Foot Health Practitioner / Podiatrist to deliver high-quality, foot care across community and care-home settings. This role is ideal for newly qualified practitioners/ final year students seeking structured support, varied clinical exposure, and flexible working. Focusing on prevention, comfort, and mobility in community and residential settings.
Responsibilities
Assess and manage foot and lower limb needs (routine care, pressure areas, painful lesions, nail pathology, footwear advice).
Implement prevention plans (offloading, padding, skincare regimes, monitoring and timely escalation).
Communicate clearly with residents, families, carers and MDT colleagues, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications
HCPC registered podiatrist (or pending registration for finalists).
Confident with vulnerable patients; strong communication skills.
Professional standards: consent, documentation, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
Desirable
? care-home services.
? Competence in offloading and basic skin integrity management (within scope of practice).
