Youth Football Coach U6/ U7-U9

NMH FC | Backed by UEFA-Graded Coaches and Former Professionals

NMH FC is a new and ambitious football club backed by UEFA-qualified coaches and former professional players. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed youth coaches to join our Sunday development programme, with a clear pathway into our Saturday competitive project for the right candidates.

Our goal is to develop the ability, confidence, and character of every child, both boys and girls, helping them reach their full potential in a safe, enjoyable, and professional environment.

If you are passionate about youth football development and committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for young players, we would like to hear from you. We are currently recruiting for new teams in the U7 to U9 age groups.

Key Responsibilities

As a Youth Team Coach or Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Player Development: Planning and delivering structured, age-appropriate training sessions to improve technical ability, confidence, and game understanding. Team Management: Managing matchdays, team selection, player rotation, and basic tactics, while providing guidance and support on and off the pitch. Communication: Maintaining clear and positive communication with players, parents, and fellow staff members. Player Welfare: Ensuring the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of all players at all times. Individual Development: Identifying areas for improvement and supporting players with individual development plans. Relationship Building: Developing strong, respectful relationships with players, parents, and the wider club community. Continuous Learning: Keeping up to date with modern coaching methods and best practice in youth football.
Your primary focus will be on long-term player development, positive team culture, and enjoyment of the game.

Essential Safeguarding and Coaching Requirements

To ensure the safety and well-being of our players, the following qualifications are required or must be obtained:

Enhanced DBS Certificate FA Emergency First Aid FA Safeguarding Children FA EE Playmaker FA Level 1 - Introduction to Football UEFA C Licence (Desirable but not essential)
Support and guidance can be provided for coaches who need assistance in completing these qualifications. In the right circumstances, funding may be available to support the completion of the FA Level 1 course.
