Overview


We are looking for passionate and dedicated

Football Coaches

-- both new and experienced -- to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with

youth players

and deliver

fun, exciting, and developmental training sessions

in a

safe and supportive environment

. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the game and a genuine commitment to helping young players develop both technically and tactically, while promoting teamwork, respect, and personal growth.

We also offer support to candidates looking to enhance their coaching career, including assistance in obtaining

First Aid certification, FA coaching qualifications, and safeguarding training

.

Responsibilities



Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate training programmes that develop players' skills and game understanding. Lead regular sessions, providing individual attention and constructive feedback to ensure every player progresses. Teach players about tactics, rules, and sportsmanship, encouraging fair play and respect on and off the pitch. Monitor and analyse player performance during training and matches to guide their improvement. Create a positive and inclusive team culture that fosters confidence, collaboration, and enjoyment. Ensure the safety and well-being of all players by adhering to health, safety, and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications



DBS eligibility and experience working with children is an advantage. Strong knowledge of football techniques, tactics, and rules. Excellent communication and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and engage young players. Ability to maintain a fun, energetic, and supportive learning environment. Coaching qualifications are desirable but

not essential

FA coaching, safeguarding, and First Aid certifications

. Commitment to ongoing professional development in coaching and player development.

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract, Volunteer
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 19.58-21.47 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 12 per week
