Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to lead sessions in developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a love for the game. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of varying skill levels. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to the personal and athletic development of each player.

Duties



Develop and implement training programmes that enhance players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness. Conduct regular training sessions, ensuring they are engaging, educational, and tailored to the needs of the team. Analyse player performance during practices and matches, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players. Organise and oversee matches, including development focused games. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding team goals, expectations, and individual progress. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coaching techniques, rules of the game, and safety protocols.

Requirements



Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football. Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Excellent leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring young athletes. Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules, match preparations, and administrative tasks. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends and school holidays, as required by the training schedule. A valid coaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
