Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in football coaching, particularly with academy boys, which we have many. Ability to inspire and develop players of all skill levels. This role is essential in fostering a positive team environment and enhancing the overall performance of our football programme. We are 5 time National Champions and require a coach who wants to win many more. You will be joining a team with 2 professional coaches.

Duties

Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all players receive individual attention and guidance. Analyse player performance during matches and training sessions to provide constructive feedback for improvement. Create game strategies and tactics that enhance team performance during competitions. Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for all players, encouraging sportsmanship and respect. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding player development and team progress.

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football, with a deep understanding of the game's rules and strategies. Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and colleagues. Ability to motivate and inspire players to achieve their personal best while working collaboratively as a team. Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules, match preparations, and administrative tasks efficiently. A commitment to continuous professional development in coaching techniques and methodologies.
