Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

Part-Time Football Coach

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching football and a strong commitment to educating and developing young players. This role plays a vital part in enhancing players' skills, building teamwork, and nurturing a lifelong love for the game.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging training sessions that develop players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and confidence. Conduct weekly training sessions focusing on technique, strategy, and teamwork. Assess player performance and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing improvement. Organise and manage competitive matches, ensuring all activities uphold the principles of fair play and sportsmanship. Create a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes respect, discipline, and enjoyment. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and fellow coaches regarding player development and team objectives.

Requirements

Minimum of

1 year's experience

in football coaching. Strong ability to teach and motivate players, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and understanding of the game. Excellent communication skills for delivering clear instructions and feedback. Genuine passion for football and the development of young athletes. Flexibility to work on

Thursday evenings

and

weekends

for training and fixtures. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.
