Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to lead and develop our team of aspiring athletes. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering training sessions, fostering team spirit, and promoting a positive sporting environment. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to share your expertise in sports coaching and teaching, helping players improve their skills while encouraging teamwork and discipline while becoming a valid member of the local community/

Duties



Design and implement training programmes tailored to different age groups and skill levels Conduct engaging coaching sessions focusing on technical skills, tactics, and fitness Motivate players to achieve their personal best and promote sportsmanship Organise team practices, matches, and tournaments in accordance with organisational guidelines Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement Ensure the safety of all participants during training and matches by adhering to health and safety protocols Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of the game Collaborate with other coaches, staff, and parents to support player development

Qualifications



Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football or similar team sports Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of various ages and abilities Knowledge of current coaching techniques, rules, and regulations of football Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while maintaining discipline Organised with excellent planning skills to prepare training sessions and manage schedules Enthusiastic team player committed to fostering a supportive sporting environment Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake training is advantageous FA playmaker Introduction to coaching Valid DBS and safeguarding
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sport and education who wish to make a positive impact on young athletes' lives through coaching.

Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer

Pay: 15.00-30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 4 per week
