Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to assist and enhance our current coaching our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the game, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate players of varying skill levels. This role is crucial in fostering a positive team environment while enhancing players' technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall performance on the pitch.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training sessions that improve players' skills, teamwork and overall enjoyment. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and progression. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on goals and club expectations. Organise and oversee team practices, training matches, and potential tournaments. Monitor player attendance and engagement in training sessions and matches to report back to the Head Coach & Chairman if necessary.

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football with ages 5 - 8yrs. Strong coaching abilities with the capacity to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Confidence in yourself to set high standards whilst using strong communication to remain in control and manage behaviour according. (Vocal when required) Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff. Ability to motivate individuals and foster teamwork within the group. Strong organisational skills to manage training sessions and training match preparations. A thorough understanding of football rules and techniques is essential. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
