Head Football Coach- Summer Holiday Role

Superstars is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Football Coach to help children develop their football skills in a fun and engaging environment over a 2-week period.

Job Type:

DBS Enhanced required, updated of 3 years. If you do not have a current valid DBS certificate, one can be arranged for you but please note a fee of 50 will be taken out of your wage. After 10 days of working for Superstars, you will be refunded this payment.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

As a

Head

Football Coach

, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring children, helping them enhance their football abilities while ensuring a supportive and enjoyable experience. You will deliver structured sessions focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Additionally, as head coach you will take on more responsibility as you must oversee other coaches working alongside you to deliver effective sessions. You must ensure everyone works harmoniously and delivers a smooth and positive football coaching experience.

You will be required to coach children in various football skills, including:

Dribbling Passing Turning Ball mastery Shooting Defending Fitness and conditioning Gamesmanship And supervise matches and tournaments. Create and deliver engaging, fun, and educational football activities. Adapt coaching methods to suit children's skill levels and learning styles. Motivate and encourage children to build confidence and improve their skills. Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring children understand techniques and game strategies. Address challenges and provide solutions to help children progress in their development.

Job Requirements:

? Comfortable and competent working with children.
? Prior experience working with children is beneficial but not a requirement.
? Enthusiastic, patient, and willing to engage in hands-on activities.
? Ability to explain football techniques clearly and effectively.
? A driving license is advantageous but not required.

Wages:

Wages will be dependent on your age:

16-18-year-olds: 60 per day

18-21-year-olds: 80 per day

22+: 100 per day

Scheduled Shifts for this job role:

21st July - 15th August, 2025 (weekdays only)
