Job Description

NSSport are recruiting for a grassroots Football coach to train and manage their own team from Horsell Martians Football Club. This role will also involve the delivery of football to children and young people within primary schools and the local community. This is a fantastic job opening for individuals looking to progress their career in football coaching, with encouraged opportunities for personal and professional development; such as relevant coaching qualifications.

THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Match Day Coaching of a local Football Team (Saturday morning) Team Training (5pm - 6pm during school term time) After School Football Clubs (during school term time) Holiday Activities (Football-based sessions)

THE INDIVIDUAL MUST HAVE:

A recognised Football coaching qualification or equivalent A keen interest and knowledge in Football A passion for sports and a desire to inspire children and young people The ability to work well independently as well as in a team Strong communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

A recognised Referee course qualification First Aid certificate
Safeguarding Children/Child Protection certificate
A clear DBS certificate
(NSSport will apply for one on the individual's behalf)*

HOURS:

Term Time:Up to 10 hours per week (available shift times will vary between 15:00 - 16:30 Monday - Friday, 17:00 - 18:00 on Mondays & 9:00 - 11:00 on Saturdays)

School Holiday Club Work:Up to 40 hours per week (shift times will vary between 7:45 - 18:15, with Early and Late shifts available)

SALARY & START DATE:

Match Day coaching & admin:20 - 30

Team Training per session:15 - 20

Term Time per session:15 - 20

Holiday Periods per day:50 - 85
