Since our establishment in Leeds in 2020, MLFA has grown into a leading Football Academy in the local area with sover 200 players and JPL teams from U7-11s. Our MLFA philosophy is built upon our endeavour to develop great people AND great players as a singular process.
Job Role
As we look to bring our own unique model to Leeds (Horsforth), we have partnered with the UK's largest grassroots football club to develop their programmes and provide enrichment opportunities along with performance level or 'academy' level coaching.
In essence, we are looking for an energetic and ambitious coach who can lead and grow this new venture. All the mechanisms for success are in place and over 200+ kids are embracing the programmes already in place.
There will be opportunities to travel across Europe and Asia with teams to various tournaments and events.
About you
Most importantly you would embrace and uphold the company philosophy of developing great people and great players together.
You would need to be a team player but also internally motivated to be successful.
You have initiative.
You must be confident and competent to coach across a range of ages and abilities from U6s recreational to U15s Academy level. Coaching contact hours would be roughly around 15 hours per week at the moment (more during school holidays when camps are held).
You would need to be computer literate, a good understanding of the google software as well as a basic idea of how to update websites and social media is necessary.
Good people and communication skills are essential.
Be reliable and a good timekeeper.
Benefits
Opportunity to be a part of something that is well positioned to grow quickly but with solid foundations.
Flexible work environment (except for essential coaching hours).
Opportunity to travel and be a part of a global company and the travel opportunities that come with that.
Depending on the situation of the candidate, this role could be done alongside studies or such as things grow.
