Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our team. As a coach, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and skill-enhancing sessions to children in schools and our football teams. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on young players' development while enjoying a flexible part-time schedule.

Hours: After school clubs (approximately 3pm - 4pm Mon - Fri)
Soccer School (8:45am - 9:45am Saturday)

Additional hours offered subject to success within the role

Duties

Plan and conduct training sessions that enhance players' technical skills and tactical understanding of football. Develop and implement game strategies tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Provide constructive feedback to players to improve their performance and confidence. Monitor players' progress and maintain records of their development throughout the season. Foster a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding training schedules, player progress, and team events. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during training sessions and matches.
Skills

Proven experience in football coaching, with a strong understanding of the game's rules and strategies. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications. Excellent teaching abilities to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate players. Effective communication skills to engage with diverse groups including players, parents, and fellow coaches. Ability to assess player performance accurately and provide actionable feedback for improvement. Passion for football and a genuine desire to inspire and empower young players. Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Bonus Hours: In addition to regular hours, you will have the opportunity to earn overtime during half terms and holidays by participating in our exciting holiday camps.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
