Football Coordinator & Welfare Officer
to lead our Football provision and holiday clubs, while also supporting the welfare and wellbeing of our pupils.
The Role
Plan, organise and deliver high-quality Football sessions, national curriculum PE lessons, tournaments, and school fixtures across a variety of age groups.
Lead and coordinate extracurricular football activities, including after school clubs.
Take a lead role in our exciting Holiday Club.
Foster participation, inclusion, and a lifelong love of Sport among all pupils.
Hold an up to date 12-hour paediatric first aid qualification and attend relevant child health and safety training.
Provide appropriate first aid to children or adults where required.
Offer pastoral and welfare support, ensuring pupils' wellbeing, safety, and inclusion are prioritised.
Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external partners to enhance pupil development and engagement.
Maintain oversight of pupils with specific medical needs, liaising with parents as necessary to ensure accurate care plans.
Ensure all medication is logged, administered, and recorded in accordance with school policy.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified or highly experienced football coach with a genuine passion for developing young players.
Have proven experience working with children or young people in a school or Sports setting.
Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
Be able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times.
Be vigilant and ensure medical policies are followed by all staff.
