FOOTBALL TEAM MANAGERS - Foundation Phase

- is one of the biggest and most popular grassroots football teams in town (just check out our 100+ reviews on Trustpilot!) creating an child focused and exciting football development environment for everyone involved.

In short, we help football coaches gain great experience, offering awesome opportunities to develop their football coaching credentials. And, we help children pursue their passion for football!

Our football club has over 160 players for the 2025-2026 season across 16 teams across u6s-u15s. We also have links with a Premier League Club through our founders role there.

But we can do more - with your help!

The Nitty Gritty:

We are looking for

2 new Football Team Managers

to work with a team from the following age group:

U9s x 2-

5v5 football (great for a UEFA C licensed coach or wishing to work towards)

The training times and days are:

U9s - 6-7pm Thursdays

The matches times and days are:

Saturday mornings @ Beddington Cricket Club (home games) Kick offs anytime between 9.30am and 11.30am

Away game venues and kick off decided by opposition (games across Croydon, Sutton, Surrey)

This is a paid role (voluntary assistant roles available too), plus FREE CPD sessions with our Head of Coaching (through observations, 1to1 chats, coach development)

You will always be

led by our head of coaching, age group co-ordinator, and club chairman

at training, plus supported by our other managers in our network.

The Perfect Candidate Will Tick The Boxes Below:

You'll have experience coaching football You'll be an FA Qualified coach - Introduction to Football as a minimum, UEFA C / FA Level 2 preferred or wanting to work towards this You will have a clean Enhanced DBS or ability to gain one through us You won't live too far away from us! You won't be shy and have bundles of energy and enthusiasm when coaching our children You'll love the idea of working in a small team and understand the importance of doing a great job! You'll love forming positive bonds with our parents and respect their hard earned money being spent on us Ideally you will drive and have access to your own car. Not a deal breaker for us, but definitely important! You'll be reliable, hard working, and all the usual stuff too!

What Your Typical Week During Term Time Will Look Like:

1 training session per week 6-7pm (Thursday) 1 match per week between 9.30am-11.30am kick offs (Saturdays)
