We are seeking a dedicated and impartial Referee to oversee sporting matches and ensure the rules are upheld fairly and consistently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, strong decision-making abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants. Duties

Enforce game rules and regulations during matches, ensuring fair play at all times. Make quick, accurate decisions on fouls, penalties, and other game-related incidents. Communicate effectively with players, coaches, officials, and spectators to manage on-field conduct. Maintain a professional demeanour and impartial stance throughout the match. Monitor the safety of all participants, intervening when necessary to prevent injuries or misconduct. Keep detailed records of game events for official documentation and reporting purposes. Assist in setting up equipment and preparing the playing area prior to matches.

Requirements

Previous experience as a referee or in a similar officiating role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong knowledge of the sport's rules and regulations. Excellent observational skills with the ability to make swift, confident decisions under pressure. Good communication skills to effectively manage interactions with players, officials, and spectators. Ability to remain impartial, composed, and professional at all times during matches. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during scheduled sporting events as required.

Pay: From 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
