Are you a passionate, force-free dog trainer who thrives on transforming the lives of dogs and their owners? Royvon is seeking an experienced, kind, and enthusiastic trainer to join our team at our purpose-built Playhouse training centre near Bridgend.

With over 65 years of dog training experience, Royvon is a trusted family-run brand that helps families raise confident and well-mannered dogs. Our Bridgend location offers premium training and boarding experiences. We are now looking to expand our dog training team to support more dogs and their owners through classes, one-to-one lessons, and behaviour modification support.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver our signature training services

, including:

Complete Training Programme

- For dogs needing life skills and improved cue-following for family integration.

Behaviour Modification Programme

- For dogs who are anxious or show reactivity.

Conduct group classes and individual training lessons

on-site.

Work with reactive dogs

(to dogs and ideally people) using modern, science-based methods.

Coach and support our trainee trainers

, helping them build their skills and confidence.

Produce engaging content

(photos and videos) to showcase training progress and promote our services online. Collaborate closely with our team to ensure consistent, force-free approaches are used across all training offerings.

Requirements



Proven experience in force-free dog training

, especially with reactivity cases. Ability to train and support

trainee trainers

with hands-on development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills - a natural team player. Comfortable using or learning to use content creation tools (phone video, editing apps etc.) to showcase training work. Positive, compassionate, and professional attitude toward all dogs and people.

Nice to Have



Previous experience running

group training classes

. Experience working in a training school or structured facility. Certifications from recognized positive-reinforcement institutions (e.g. IMDT, APDT, Karen Pryor Academy, etc.).
