Forecourt attendant required for our attended service fuel station.

We require an additional team member in our Gulf fuel station. The successful candidate will enjoy engaging with members of the public in a professional and polite manner plus have an established ability of cash handling and operating a cash register and card machine in a shop environment.

Previous experience working in a petrol forecourt would be beneficial but not necessary. Petroleum licence regulations requires the candidate to be at least 18 years old.

As an attended service site, staff will actively fuel customers cars as well as serving in the shop, taking payment and carrying out housekeeping and stock maintenance. Numeric literacy is essential as is an ability to ledgibly record readings and transactions. This is an active job which requires a degree of physical fitness (lifting tank lids and completing manual fuel tank stock dips) plus being on your feet to serve customers fuel.

Attended service site - physically serve petrol & diesel

Operation of EPOS (cash register) & card machine

Responsible for transactions through the till
Sell confectionery & accessories from the shop

Housekeeping of forecourt area & shop area

Stock checking confectionery, accessories and fuel

Re-stocking shelves of confectionery

Weekly fuel dips - remove tanks lids, check physical dip sticks

Accepting fuel deliveries (certification training provided)

Other duties as required

Week 1

Monday, Tuesday, Friday 1pm - 7.30pm

Saturday 8am - 5pm

Sunday 10am - 5pm

Monday & Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm

Wednesday, Thursday 1pm - 7.30pm

25 hours

Average weekly hours 30.25

Additional shifts to cover holidays and absences

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 7.30pm

Saturday 8am - 5pm

Sunday 10am - 5pm

Gulf uniform & PPE supplied

Hourly rate 12.30
