Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foreman to oversee and coordinate our team on site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing personnel and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standards. As a working Foreman, you will play a crucial role in leading your team, provide hands on support, maintain quality control and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities


- Provide hands on support on site.

- Can lead a team and deliver high quality work in curbing, slabbing and drainage.

- Supervise daily operations and manage the workflow of the team to ensure project deadlines are met.

- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
- Monitor work quality and adherence to safety regulations, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Facilitate communication between management and crew members to address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and workforce hours.
- Train new employees on company policies, safety procedures, and job-specific tasks.

Experience


- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or manufacturing industry is essential.
- Strong skills in managing teams effectively while maintaining high levels of morale and productivity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead others.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the workplace is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational abilities is essential for success in this role.
