The Investigative Accounting Group at Meaden & Moore provides forensic accounting services to insurance companies, independent adjusters, and legal counsel.

Investigative Accounting Internship positions available:




June 2026 - August 2026


Start and End Dates are flexible.


Both part-time and full-time internships are available for this role. Part-time internships require 20 - 29 hours per week, while full-time internships require a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an expectation of up to 40 hours. This opportunity can be hybrid or fully onsite.

Opportunity:




The internship opportunity involves supporting the Investigative Accounting team in London by assisting with the analysis and review of insurance-related financial losses. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to forensic accounting, insurance claims, litigation support, and give you practical experience in analyzing complex financial data.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the review and analysis of insurance claims involving business interruption, property damage, and cyber-crime. Examine financial records, accounting data, and supporting documentation to assess claimed losses. Organize, summarize, and analyze large data sets using Excel and other analytical tools. Assist in preparing schedules, reports, and exhibits for client deliverables.

Assignments will provide exposure to a wide range of industries from small local retail stores to multinational entities.

Qualifications:




The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in the UK Proficiency in German, Spanish, or French is strongly preferred Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel skills that are considered to be an intermediate or advanced level. The candidate should also be open to training in other Windows-based applications. Motivation and enthusiasm! Our clients have come to expect high levels of service and expertise.
